OK, I'll step in here - my opinion would be at $20K, see ya.... Its a beautiful bike, but as a test, I'll offer $12K right now. Whatcha think'n?
I mean come on, look at the floor boards. They're filthy! |

I would'nt mind it, but not at that price. Big motor, belt drive, might be interesting?

THe 2000 motor doesn't have the longevity of the 1500/1600. I haven't read where anyone hit 100K miles and 2 examples I do know about they started burning oil a lot sooner. One at 29K and the other around 68K. The floor boards have dust on them. The bike has been sitting their awhile. If you think that is filthy, you should see my bike. No trailer queens here. It gets ridden everywhere, gravel and pavement, rain and shine.

Interesting idea. Too much $$$$. Note it is an 06 and still sitting on showroom floor.

Thats a lot of money, for a used bike. I think it will be there for a while :)

This is the same dealer I DIDN'T buy my Nomad from, so I am sure they will have the beast sitting for a while. I agree, even new a 2 year old Vulcan is not worth 20K.
What I thought was funny is the bags looked small on the bike because they are mounted high enough to clear the exhaust.. Bruce. |

I think it would have looked better using the LT model with the standard headlight. That headlight looks like sh*t in my opinion. There is a guy on the "delphi forums" who has converted his to a nomad and put a fairing on it. I think it looks pretty good, but he has some money in it to make it that way.
I am with you Meanstreak031, I am going to keep my ZRX for the fast days and get a nice used Nomad for the long, comfortable days. Bill |

DO NOT like the exhaust or the price tag. Not crazy about belt drive either. My nephew spent $26,000 for an Iron Horse and got mud and gravel under the belt. It ate up the billet aluminum sprocket, not covered by warranty. $660 to replace it. No Thanks.

I would like to see it on the new 900 Vulcan!! What a great smaller platform for solo or just for someone who doesn't want a BIG bike. Bikes are getting bigger. I think too many under 1000 cc bikes are unfairly over looked.
Plus... we don't have 20K +++ to spend.
