Death Valley Trip

I'll be going out to Death Valley this weekend.

I've never been there before anything I need to know? We'll be staying in St. George the first and last night and camping at the National park the other night.

Hopefully the weather will be nice and one of the 2 rain storms they get a year wont be this weekend.

If this is the rainy season down there you might want to pack pontoons for the bike. HA

Death Valley Trip

Possible rain this weekend in the mid to southern cal area. Otherwise Death Valley this time of year is beautiful and cold at night!

Death Valley Trip

Did that ride last year. Long ride from St. George. Allow enough time to see Scottie's Caste. Make sure you time it right and when you get there get on the tour list early so you can look around while waiting for your tour. I think they start every 1 1/2 hours. Check their website. Fun ride. I did it in May and it was pretty hot even then. Make sure to stop at Furnace Creek. 214 ft. below sea level. Nice photo op there by the gas station. Don't pass up a gas station. I almost ran out.
