Radiator leak
This morning when I went to take a ride I noticed a nice little puddle of liquid under the radiator. I haven't had time to really check, but from your experience, where would be the most likely place for this leak?

I had the same thought about the drain plug. Get a good flashlight and look for antifreeze running down the frame or radiator from a leak further up if it isn't coming from the drain plug.

There are lots of places where it could be leaking from. Tighten all clamps and the drain bolt and most likely your problem will be solved.

Drain plug or a hose going to the radiator. Get under it and wipe everything off and then keep checking and eventually you will see where the coolant is escaping from.

The little hose, that if you follow it back a few inches goes to the engine? If so how much coolant? 1 drop?

pretty steady drops coming from the hose. I've looked all over and can't find where it might connect. if it doesn't connect to anything, any reason it's slowly dumping out the coolant? when i checked the reservoir, it was completely dry.

Repair is called for. This 'IS' the little hose right? Do not run the engine. Either get the info to fix this yourself which is drain the rad, drain the water pump via the bottom rear bolt, then the rest, to pull the water pump. The inner water pump shaft seal said good bye.
You will need that seal, the water pump gaslet, and new coolant for parts. The gas tank will need to be removed to fill new coolant. I will list tools if you need, biut if you pay there isn't any point. If you run this engine it won't be long before the pressure drives ALL the coolant out of that hose. You will cook the engine. Whom ever must also clean the water pump driving shaft and the surrounding areas, dry it and white grease lube the engine oil seal, the shaft and the housing which is allow and will need to be cleaned. Besides over heating, it could be possible to buils pressure in the cavity between the inner engine oil seal and the water pump seal, but is unlikely since the drain functions. Basicly there is a space between the water pump rear seal and the engine seal that stops the flow of oil, and tha space needs to be spotless clean dry and then lubed to prevent aluminum oxide from growing to be white crusty mung. The engine oil seal should also be greased with a high quality chassi grease, as a light film.

I either missed words or you edited more words... The little tubing from the engine is a drain, for when either the internal engine oil seal, or the rear water pump seal fail. You can see coolant drip, or engine oil drop and or both.
Do not plug it!

Jeff, If it is the water pump seal, it may be covered by the extended warranty. I would ask anyway.

By all means ask if you have extended warranty. It should be well covered, all but for maybe the coolant. Don't run that engine still! No extended warranty will cover a fried engine!!!!!!!
