Installed Aeromach 4" Pullback Risers

I installed the new risers this morning. I took a short ride and I am in a much more comfortable riding position than before. Elbows are bent and my hands are in a higher and more natural place. This should eliminate the pain between the shoulder blades on long trips. It took me about an 1 1/2 hours from start to finish. The cables and hoses are not tight and I didn't have to reroute them or cut the stock ties that hold them to the bars. If anyone decides to get a set of these, be sure to order the little 10 pk of chrome dots to cover the 6mm allen bolts that secure the top caps of the risers. The stock chrome dots are for 8mm allen bolts and will not fit on the riser bolts. I purchased everything from Value Accessories. Item number for the risers is AM-3325C and the item number for the chrome dots is HH-03-308. For those who may be concerned about nacelle clearance, the second and third pictures show that it's not even close with the bars at full lock left and right.

Nice job, Mitch! Accessories that improve your riding comfort are great, aren't they? Makes a great bike even better.

Nice pictures! Mine are quite a bit closer to the nacel than that - about half as much closer. I'm not kidding when I say there's about a credit card's width of space.

Next time I'm working on the bike I'll see about shifting my tank back a little bit to get as much space as you have.

Regardless, that's lookin' good! You're going to wonder why it took you so long to get them.

Looks great Mitch!
Of all the mods I've done to my Nomad, the risers are the best!

Great looking risers. I have the Aeromach risers also and love um. No clearance problems here either.

I added a pair of Chuckster's 3" risers about two weeks ago and I have to agree that it makes a wold of difference. Then a Grasshopper backrest and its like I'm riding my recliner.

Skipper, I recognize the black & white floor tiles at the dealership. That is at Cycle World of Houma right?? I bought my Nomad there with James Henry.
Back to the risers, I don't know why I waited as long as I did before installing them. I can now fully enjoy the backrest with my arms and shoulders in a comfortable position. Next is the driving lights.

Cajunrider, you are correct, that was Cycle Wold of Houma. I bought my 2008 model in early 2009 from James also.

Sure are, the wife and I took a 90 mile ride this afternoon. No pain between the shoulder blades and no stiff neck. I should have taken care of this right after purchasing the Nomad but had never heard of risers until joining this forum. Plenty of good information here even though some of us are half crazy.

Great looking risers. I just installed a set of Phatt II and like them ALOT. Have not had a chance for any riding yet but even just setting on the bike I can tell a big difference. Can't wait to get them out on the open road.

The biggest difference between these risers and the Phatt II risers is These raise the bars 2" and putting your grip point 1-1/2" closer to you, and the phatt II Raises the bars 2.5" and pulls your grips back 3" closer to you. Better for people with short arms like me
