I have a question....
I keep hearing and seeing reference to Fire and Steel items for Kaws...also in the same breath as Stock items...are they one in the same?
Sorry still learning...if not are stock items made by Kaw and Kaw only? Like the Crash bars and Back rest on my bike...
In any case will the Fire and Steel fit stock?

The FIRE AND STEEL name I believe is just the name of KAW's aftermarket accessories brand. They are bought through Kaw dealers. They offer all kinds of stuff like you said, backrest and shields and other stuff. You can actually go to Kaw's site and list accessories for your bike, even all the way back to early 2000

Fire and Steel IS the Kawasaki name for their accessories for all of the Vulcan line of motorcycles. Stock refers to parts that come on the Nomads from the factory like the windshield, engine guards, passenger backrest, etc.

The floor boards are still for sale, they are not what I was looking for.

I will get a hold of someone I know who was looking for a set for her 800 Drifter! She saw the same one's on mine and got all misty and begged me to sell mine to her!

I believe the 800 drifter mounts with only 1 mount on the bottom side, these have two for Nomads or 1500 Drifters

They are the same size as stock, just factory powdercoated black and have the "V" and Fire & Ice logo on them.
