Kawasaki Trike Kit
The other night I stumbled across a company that produces a trike kit for 1500/1600 Vulcan/Nomad bikes.
Hannigan MotorSports. http://www.hannigantrikes.com/conten...sakitrike.html Wife and I recently retired. Last summers trip to Black Hills SoDak got me thinking about a trike. I struggle a bit at slow speeds and two up. I thought I would have to sell my '07 1600 Classic and get somthing I could find a trike kit for, (I had been thinking vtx). That was before I came across Hannigan Trike Kit for Kawasaki. This may be a great alternative to selling my Classic. I don't know alot about them but will be checking them out. Does anyone here have any experience with them? Viper If I should have posted this in the Vendor section, I apologise and ask a moderator to move it. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

The only way you would have had to post this in the vendor section is if you were selling the trike kits. ;)

Took a look at the trike kit and I have to say it's the best looking trike I have ever seen. Looks sharp.

It's a great looking kit. My 2006 Nomad Blue book retail is less than the cost of the trike kit and installation. Makes this kind of purchase something of a puzzle, for me at least.

For about $4000 you can get one like mine. It is removable in about 5 minutes, so you can go back to two wheelin'. I have had mine up to 80mph and no problems. Just my 2 cents.

Kawasaki Trike Kit
I am at the start of converting mine to a hannigan trike.....I love the design and the trunk space and back body........I will let you know how it goes but it won't be started until probably the middle of March. As for the price, I realize it's costly but I am also sure that if I ever decide to sell it I won't have any problems as trikes are the fastest growing group of all bikes right now.

I am currently waitng for my 2007 Nomad conversion kit from Hannigan. They carry a good rep. and are easy to work with. The Hannigan Co. itself had a fire recently and and are in the process of putting everything back together. I called them today and I was assured I would have a date when they will be putting the Kawasaki kits back together. So far I'm sold on 'em
