A Drunk Driver claims another innocent life

At approximately 4:30 this afternoon a drunk driver crossed the center-line of county road WW near Mexico, MO and hit my niece Brandy Kay Phillips head on at over 60 miles an hour. The accident was witnessed by three teenage girls in the car behind my niece who called it in on a cell phone. Brandy was airlifted to a trauma center in Columbia, MO where she died after everything that the doctors could do for her. She was driving an old Ford Festiva and her internal injuries were so massive that they could not stop the bleeding.

Brandy was engaged to be married in June of this year. She was on her way to her fiances house when the accident occured.

The driver of the car that hit her was operating a car with no driver's license, no insurance and illegal plates on the car.
