Where's the coolant level guage?

I have an '08 Nomad. The owner's manual on page 113 shows the guage located on what looks like the frame, but I couldn't find it anywhere on the bike.

I finally checked the reservoir under the right side cover and my level was OK, but I'd still like to know where the guage is.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

The so-called "coolant level gauge" is actually just the rear-most part of the "reserve tank." It's the part of the tank which projects to the rear about one inch. This portion can be seen without removing the right side cover. It's not exactly easy to see but if you look between the side cover and the rear crash bars you can see it.

I find that it's easier to just take off the side cover. One screw and you can see the level very easy.

It is very easy to do. I became quite good at the side cover removal when my radiator had a leak. Only burned my fingers once, lol.
