I have now sent my wheels, fork lowers, and switch housings off for chrome. Really looking forward to getting all the stuff back and back on the bike, along with all the other new chrome parts. I also purchased a fairing from Wide Open Custom, but unfortunatetly wasn't able to use it, it set a little too high and I didn't like the way it obstructed my view (I have a really low profile seat which puts me down further and I'm only 5'7"), so I used the $925 that I originally spent on the fairing on a ton of chrome parts to bling out the bike. I'll post pics when it's done, hopefully by the end of the year.

Are you also going to get your brake rotors done? I've seen them polished before and it would definitely look nice with the chrome wheels.

I don't think doing the rotors would work, or last very long.. The pads are semi metalic and would eat though the chrome, nickel and copper layers pretty quick.
maybe there are after market SS rotors??? my Liberty bike has them and they look better than the Nomad rotors.. thicker too.

Kenny,
What kind of low profile seat do you have that puts you lower? Eagleman

The Saddleman Profiler. After switching it out and back to the factory seat I figure it sits me down about an extra 2 inches or so.

I've always thought that hot rods/motorcycles run better with more chrome....don't you agree.

I have to agree with that one, I think the chrome must make them more aerodynamic. Or at least that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
