Great American Smoke Out, Today

Just wondering how many of us smoke. Today is The Great American Smoke Out. Might be worth it to try and give it up. I for one am going to give it my best shot.

I started smoking cigars about ten years ago after quitting cigarettes for twentytwo years. At this time Im not ready to stop since Im not a heavy smoker, I usually have one a day. On weekends I may have 2-3 a day.When I run out sometimes I go for 3-4 months without one especially in the winter. Summer weather and a cold beer make it a tough temptation to avoid.

I quit smoking 15 years ago after smoking for 35 years. Don't miss it at all.

I quit smoking in 1976 and quit alcohol in 2001.
Geez I am a boring guy.
Now if I could quit junk food ............................

Same here Bob....I smoked for 15 yrs and quit 25 yrs ago. I do use the smokeless stuff though. :-[

Some nice thoughts and comments from you guys. I quit smoking December 1999 but started again around April 2006. Boy, was that a mistake. Now I fight it almost every day trying to give them up again.
