Landing Gear Out of New Orleans

Has anyone ever heard of a company out of New Orleans called Landing Gear? I saw a Goldwing parked at a pawn shop today. Actually I saw it a few days earlier but stopped today to check it out. Not the bike but what looks like training wheels under it. Upon closer inspection noticed the company is the above mentioned. Looks to be made out of good sturdy material. The bike just sat there in the upright position and no need to put the side stand down.

I don't need the training wheel deal but I thought if I had something that holds the bike up that way the wife might ride with me. Anyone ever seen these or know of anyone that uses the? I took a picture of it but with my camera and not sure how the picture will turn out. If it is where you can see it I will post it later.

Found some information on these setups. It is a different company than the one I mentioned. It is called legup. It doesn't show they make them for Kawasaki or the Nomad. They make them for the Harley and Goldwing. The cost for a Harley is $2999. and for the Goldwing $3499. Pretty expensive I think.

The way it works is when you come to a stop it automatically comes down so you don't even have to put your feet down to hold the bike, although they recommend doing so. When you start off it automatically goes up. Just thought I would pass that along to you guys.

They are designed to drop down when your bike gets down to about 3 mph so you won't have to set your feet down. They raise up when the bike starts moving again.
They are designed mostly for handicapped riders.
They have been around for a few years.... Great idea , but.. if they don't go down when you are stopping then "you" might go down!!

They would be hell if for some reason they go down when you don''t need them to!

I guess they can build anything nowadays, but I wonder who would actually buy such an item for that much money. Id rather save the cash and put my feet down.

Actually what I was hoping for would be to add my wife as a rider. I think if she realized that the bike wouldn't turn over when stopped, I think she would feel safer.

I have no problem with putting the feet down. Actually sometimes I am glad to be able to. Gives me a chance to sort of rest the old butt.

Interesting concept but I would be afraid of them coming down on a low speed turn in a parking lot or worse on a switchback. That could really ruin your day.
