Progressive Fork Springs

Hi
Looking for Progressive Fork Springs that will fit on a 07 Nomad.
Everything I found is for the 1600 classic are they the same as the Nomad ?
I need to grease the steering head and thought I might as will change the fork springs while I'm at it. If anyone knows where I can find them I sure would appreciate the help.
Thanks Don

How do you know you need springs? Might it just be the oil is old and worn, need 15 or 20 W oil to improve nose dive??

Thanks Doc for replying.
Will I've got over 49 k on the 07 Nomad and from what I'm reading on here people say when they changed just the fork oil it didn't help much. Mine seems to be pretty mushy.
Thanks Don

I think the same that the springs get weak! Mine has 54,000 and I have changed the oil once and dind't seem to do anything for the better. Will know more the end of next week once I change out the springs and add new oil. Should be in great shape then.

My 06 only has around 8k miles and it nose dives in a bad way. I know bigger cruisers are more susceptable to this than the sport bikes I used to ride but, I have to improve this somewhat somehow.

Doc
I just sent an e-mail to Progressive to see if the classic and Nomad are the same spring.
Soon as I get an answer I'll let everyone know.

Racetech make springs and valve modulators for the 05/08 Nomads. Had them installed on my bike.

Nice paint job there Chuck. I like the scheme on those saddlebags. Looks good.

Hay Guys
I got an answer back from Progress Springs.
Question was is the 1600 classic and the 1600 Nomad use the same Fork Springs.
They said no that they were different forks and that they didn't make any springs for the 1600 Nomad.
Great I guess I'll have to look at the stock springs then.
Hope this help everyone that wondered if the Classic and Nomad were the same.

I put progressive front springs on, added a spacer (1/8th in) and progressive rear shocks..changed the oil to 15wt. The result was a new bike that handles extremely well for a cruiser. I also have a 92 zx1100 ninja..guess what they are the same forks springs that the 07 Nomad takes..Bdog
