HD fairing brackets on 07 Nomad

:-[I have an 07 Nomad and the inner and outer fairing from an 03 HD. I am not that good on fabricating metal and was wondering if any one could share drawings of the bracket they used.

Welcome from Newmarket, See if you can find Lee Sido, he makes brackets so you can use an HD fairing on a Nomad. I can't remember if he is on VROC or the Delphi Vulcan forum. He may even have his own website that shows the brackets. But he's the guy to use if you don't want to make your own.

Lee is a tuff guy to get a hold of but I have talked to him, and the rake on the 07 are different then the older brackets

I have the template drawings that I used on mine available as well as instructions I was given from a friend that did this to his '06. Just to be clear the templates need to be printed on 11"x17" paper with no scaling. Should be able to get that done at an office supply store I would expect. If not, I can print them and send a copy to you.

Check out http://nomad.nmsolutions.ca/hdfairing.php. I am by no means a fabricator of any kind but got them done myself and they turned out quite good I think.

Here is the final product, I have not updated the web site with the completed items yet...

I have checked out the brackets but I get an error code when I try to view the instructions. Any suggestions?

I e-mailed it to you. Not sure why you would get an error, have had several people download them with no issue.

Edit: Something seems to have happened to the PDF. It should work now.

Any of you using Lee's brackets on an 06 nad with Phat IIs installed?
Can I see a few pics from the side and of the inner so I can see where the fairing sits with respect to the risers ect?

As far as I know Lee does not make brackets that do the inner and outer for the 1600. I tried unsuccessfully to contact him for months and get an answer but never had any luck. The guy that I got the instructions from waited a year for Lee to come through....and got nothing. Maybe they are out there, but I have yet to see anyone with a 1600 that has them on any forum.
