Not as much activity on the forum as of late. I hope that's because it's August/September and everybody's out riding.

Maybe because of Football Season..... with a little school thrown in for good measure.

Trip,

I wonder if these Nomads are just so well made that it leaves little to comment on. No big recurring problems to discuss. Go over to the COG sight for the C14 if you want to see the opposite. Lots of discussion: warped rotors, being stranded by KIPASS failures, front tire cupping, dashboard branding by the windscreen, lost KIPASS fobs, $1200 tip over repairs, how to get a windscreen that actually blocks the wind, removal of secondary butterflies to get enough low end power, how to replace the ugly potato cannon muffler, how to make the bike comfortable for a passenger, how to get mpg up out of the 30's, dealing with recalls, etc. Constant activity there. I think I like this better.

I've got almost 50,000 miles mine since '07. Have just kept changing lubricants and filters, tires, putting gas in and having pie and coffee as I ride. No repairs or problems. But maybe that makes for a slow web site.

Far too nice to be spending much time in front of a computer. The dreaded s**w will be here before we know it.

It seems to me that it's slower than it was..... since the rally, Trip.
I just assumed that members were all out riding. The hype of Custer was what seemed to be bringing in the usual.... "poster's". For me, I'm "on site" at least once a day. I'm in the midst of selling my place and moving to an "old folks home" { over 50 complex } That and work, the cabin, and I'm trying to squeeze in as much riding as possible before Oct. But I'll be a life'er here at KawaNOW, as long as I'm on a Nomad.

I've other activities that keep me busy. I still need to mount my new front tire soon. Haven't ridden the Nad for 2 weeks. But I do keep her shiny!!!

Did you need BD to stir up some trouble????

Been working lots of hours on a 30" pipeline project. Finished it last week but I've been working nights this past week. Switch over to days tomorrow morning. The crazy life of a shift worker.......
