Had to remove V&H exhaust

Bike started back firing on the way back from Sturgis but just once in awhile. Took a ride Saturday and the problem got worse.
Found a huge crack in the header pipe in the first bend of the back cylinder. Reinstalled the factory exhaust for now.
I will call V&H but I'm sure they will do nothing. Seems that this is a common problem with these pipes. I will be looking at other after market exhausts, loved the sound of the V&H's. Anything out there that compares?
