Got my Chucksters
Got my Chuckster Risers in the mail today. Not much of a wrench but it looks easy enough. Going to give it a whirl tomorrow. Let you all know how they work out.

When it comes time to re-attach the handlebars, you tighten the front handlebar clamp bolts to 25 ft-lbs first, then tighten the rear clamps (closest to the rider) to 25 ft-lbs. If done properly, the 2 halves of the clamps will be tight at the front with a gap at the rear. Some folks try to "split the difference", but for the handlebars to be properly clamped, there should be no gap at the front.
This is from the Kaw service manual.

Thanks Scott for mentioning that, as I need to add that to my instruction sheet. I have been told by someone in that past, they tried splitting the difference on the caps and broke one.
What I do is look at the cap, and you will notice that one side is longer on the bottom side. That goes towards the front, and that goes tight to the bottom half and then tighten each of the lower bolts after, there will be a gap. 25ftlbs is correct and I take the one's under the triple tree to 40 ftlbs.

Got my Chucksters
Finally got the time to put the Chuckster Risers on before a big ride tomorrow. Pretty dang easy and boy are they great. Glad I went with the Chucksters. Saved money, got the rise and pull back that I needed and they look great. Big ride tomorrow. That will be the real test.

First ride with the chuckster risers today. They were great. Wish I wouldn't have waited so long. Put in 400+ miles today and no sore back or elbows. What a difference. Buddies mentioned how good they looked to.
