It looks good, those tires fit pretty tight in there don't they.
How does it feel compared to the Bike tire?

Great pictures. Do you get any rubbing when loaded down, or if you hit a bump, or in cornering? I was worried about that with my 195/55/16, but haven't had any problems. Your tire looks great on the bike.

Tire looks great. Does anyone have any information as to how a motorcycle reacts to a blowout / loss of air while at speed? I'm in the process of changing both tires on my sportbike, and I'm amazed at how stiff the sidewalls are. Automotive tires are certainly no where as stiff.

No rubbing what so ever, I have had it loaded right up!
It takes all bumps better than the bike tire

Nice Look'in CT! Glad to see I'm not the only one here with a BigBeefyrearend (as ITSEMT told me about mine!) Ride the heck out of it, had mine up to around 115mph so far with about 2k miles on it, and it still hasn't burst into flames yet! (hahaha) [GOOSE]

A blow out at highway speeds is just plain no fun..... if you live...

The best protection is a good dammned tire in the first place, something with more than 10% tread life, AND a newer tire by date code.

NO new tire on the shelf is much good after it is 6 years old..

Since the year 2000 the date code has 4 digits. The first 2 are the week of the year and the last 2 are the year.

The new tire I got today has a code of 1108, meaning week 11 in 08.

You can't use bike tires on a car, where you can use car tires on some bikes...

No darkside for me. I'll stick with a motorcycle tire. Some things are just best left to the experts.

nomaddriver03, Do you have 2 bikes and one is a Nomad? Or are you confused as to what this site is?

Just incase you have one bike and it is a sport bike you sure don't want any car tire on that.... A heavey cruiser can and will do just fine on a car tire, but things would get bad fast if a car tire was on any kind of sport bike.

Stiff side walls can be had in car and truck tires too, but a blow out is just bad news on any bike any time and any place.

One really big difference with a Nomad and other big cruising bikes is you can't lean over all that far after you hit hard parts...

A few hard parts are sort of forgiving like floor boards that hinge up a bit, but much more lean will raise the rear wheel off the ground, and when that happens yer goin down!
