dumb question, but I'm asking it anyways

Where do you guys put your state registration tags? I just received my Cobra luggage rack today. As I was about to put it on the bike I noticed it wouldn't fit due to the high cover for the license plate bracket. It's on that high part where I currently have my state registration tag. So, where can I relocate this bad boy that I can change out the license plate holder, and finally install my luggage rack?

I keep mine in my wallet but your state may have other requirements.

I keep mine locked in the saddlebag. IN does not require it to be displayed.

What's a state registration tag? Mine goes on my license plate.

Well, here's a dumb answer: Don't know what a state registration tag is. Got a license plate and an inspection sticker and that's it. Jamie

Wait, duhhrrr...you guys are right. I should have said INSPECTION STICKER. Same situation though. Well, at least I won't have to pay $60 to get a new inspection just so I can move the sticker. Guess I'll throw it on the windshield.

Move along. Nothing to see here.

sorry, guess I can't help you, here in Florida we don't have inspection stickers, the only sticker we have is the registration sticker that goes on the corner of the tag.

Here in NY most of the inspection stickers go on the lower part of the left front fork leg.
Some guys (mostly Harley riders) have a chrome plate attached to the left front motor mount they put their sticker on.

You could bend the tab down that the inspection sticker is on, or get a side tab to put it on so that is it beside the plate.

When Arkansas use to require an inspection, the person doing the inspecting would put the inspection sticker on the outside of the left front fork. The sticker was about a 2" square in size.

Here in VA we have inspection stickers. And use to have Co. or City stickers also. I made a plate like the ones that you can buy. I used one of the motor mount bolts just below the horn on the left side of the bike. It's kinda tucked away and doesn't stick out.
