Asked to take down The American Flag... in Texas

Has anyone here read about this? http://cbs11tv.com/local/patriotism....2.1020415.html
I'd like to hear from my Texas brethren on this. Especially Trip since he works in hospitals. FWIW, the home company is here:http://www.kindredhealthcare.com/

Asked to take down The American Flag... in Texas

Anyone in this country that is offended by the sight of the United States of America flag needs to just GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR COUNTRY! ! ! !

I am getting rather sick of being expected to pander to the sorry sensitivities of beings that don't appreciate the freedoms that our country enjoys.

These freedoms have only been won through the blood spilled by many of our countrymen!

If you don't like it here, see the above statement highlighted in RED!

P.S. I also sent an email to CBS11TV expressing my thoughts on this subject.

Well said, Bob. It is a shame that we must cater to others needs and wishes. Being a teacher, I could go on and on about instances like this that happen in schools, but I think I'll hold back.

I'm sick and tired of this politically correct agenda that seems to govern every decision in this country.

You find the American flag offensive? Then get the F**K out of here! Here's a news flash: you're in America! Nobody has a right to not be offended. You know what I find offensive? Billboards printed "en espanol" in America, tech support people whom you can't understand, and illegal immigrants protesting against US immigration policy in the streets of our major cities!

Sorry, I blew a gasket there for a minute. I'll calm down now.

I havn't heard of an exact incident like that, but we have all kinds of that crap going on here. Just last week the Tamil community in Toronto was protesting all week about the war in Sri Lanka. They where blocking the roads setting fires and all kinds of other crap.
All lot of these Tamils where the boat people who fled there in the mid 80's and Canada took them in. This is the thanks we get for giving them a hand. I think they should have bombed the boats and sunk them right there.
I work at a school here and its sickening to see all the political asskissing that goes on here. I don't know how much more of this garbage we are going to be forced to eat.
