GARAGE DOOR OPENER

I was messing around in the garage this morning and decided to do the Gadget's garage door opener modification. $2.79 for the switch at Radio Shack, some old wire I had lying around and some silicone. 25 minutes later I was done. It's so cool. No more wondering were the dang thing is. Is it in my jacket, or tool bag. No it's on the right side cover stuck up there clean as could be. Oh yeah, It also works.

Thanks Gadget! : )> tom

GARAGE DOOR OPENER

Tom......You'll like the mod a lot. Just check the opener once in a while and make sure it's attached tight. I had one on my 900 attached with double stick tape and one day it was gone! Fell right off the bike. My bad for not checking it.

Good advise. It's inside the right side cover, so I don't think it will fall out, but I will check it now and then.

GARAGE DOOR OPENER

I got this garage door opener from Amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw...+390&x=12&y=18

It's small enough to keep on my key ring with my car keys and house key, which I always have with me. When I leave or get home on the bike, I just have to reach in my pants pocket to push the button.

LT, Didn't take any pictures yet. I am going to take a few, to show my bike and some of the things I've done, but you know no that would require getting the camera out and all that. Procrastination is my middle name. If wish I wouldn't have waited to do this mod though. Pictures of this mod are on Gadgets site, if I don't get mine up soon.

Check out the forum faqs here: http://www.kawanow.org/forumfaq/forumfaq.htm

Basically, you have to upload your photos to a website like Photobucket. Then each photo will have an url assigned to it which you then put into your post with the image tags such as this:

[*img]url[*/img] You will have to leave out the * which I inserted so that the tags would display.

Another way to see this is to just find a post where someone has inserted a picture and then click on the "quote" in the header of the post. You will then be able to see exactly what they entered in their post to insert the picture.
