I need a little info on doing brakes front and rear. I have done pads on cars but i am wondering if there is any difference when doing them on motorcycles? anything i should be careful of?

I've always done them the same----but then again I may get shot for answering this one so quick. I don't use brakes anyway, I drag my feet like Fred Flitstone, ya-ba-da-ba-do~~~~~from what I hear, macmac does the same thing.

Replacing brake pads

There is no difference in replacing disk pads on a car or motorcycle. The same principles apply.

Replacing brake pads

The only difference is, it's much easier on the bike. Just remove the 2 caliper mounting bolts on each caliper, press the pad in with your fingers, lift off the caliper, remove the "E" clip and slide the pin out, then rotate the pads out. Don't forget to scuff up the disc with some emory cloth. Then reassemble in the reverse order. And don't forget to pump up the brakes BEFORE you start down the road. ;)
