Natchez Trace to Tennessee Ride

Leaving in the morning around 10 a.m. after getting a 3 or 4 hour nap. Heading North to Natchez MS and getting on the Trace. We will ride up to Ridgeland, MS and spend the night there. Leaving Wednesday morning and meeting Oldbikers a couple of hours later for a ride together up to Tupelo and Corinth. Having a late lunch there and we'll part company. We will continue up toward Nashville and spend the night somewhere along there. Thursday morning we will head West to Humboldt, TN, not very far from Unwind's hometown. We'll spend a night or two there at Darlene's nanny's home and head back home probably Saturday. Got to get her in shape for the long ride to Custer. I'm anxious to meet Jim & Bea. All of the reviews I've read on them are 5 star. Weather should be great until the trip back.

Ride safe, and have a great trip. I'll have to give Jim & Bea the "5 stars" too. They are really great people.

My friend Jimmy and I left at 7AM and rode 132 miles to meet Cajunrider and his wife Darlene,we then rode North on the Trace 76 miles to Tupelo where we picked up Hwy.45 North for 55 miles to Corinth where we had lunch and went to Bar None Leather so Mitch (Cajunrider) could try and find a vest that would fit. After we left Cajunrider and his better half we rode 108 miles home while they continued on to Muscle Shoals AL.
IT WAS A GREAT DAY AND I MET TWO WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!!

Arrived home at 17:10 Friday afternoon. We cut our trip short a couple of days because of the impending bad weather from the Sub Tropical Low in the Gulf. Caught some bad weather on the way back but only one deluge that we had to stop under an overpass for shelter. The rest of the showers were light. I met Jim (Oldbikers) and his buddy Jimmy on the Trace between Ridgeland and Tupelo MS. Darlene and I both enjoyed the ride and time we spent with Jim and Jimmy. Both were just great people to be with. Looking forward to doing it again. I'll post some of my own pics later.
