Search feature question

What do I type in if I want to search for OIL treads?

Try searching for mobil, rotella, synthetic, amsoil, or other brands of oil. These terms all come up frequently in oil threads.

The serch feature is the only thing on this site that I don't like.

I've never figured it out. I can't even find my own threads when I know lots of search terms and extend the date out.

I just don't search

Yeah, the search feature is not the best it could be.

try searching for "air leak", same story
The search doesn't recognize strings enclosed in quotes and therefore treats them as separate words.
Also if you try to search back too many days in history it will return nothing.
