Finally picked her up

Hey Everyone,

Finally picked up the 07' yesterday and all I can say is what a sweet machine! The differences from my carbed 01' are noticeable but she is similar enough where the comfort factor is already there. It's not like I am getting used to a new bike at all.

They did get most if not all of the "mixer" sounds out of the front of the motor and she IS faster. Not having a manual reserve is going to be different and getting to know just how far I can go on a tank of gas. Gonna be hard to use the old "I lost track of time" with the digital clock I had the OEM luggage rack installed but made em take it back when I saw how high it sits on the backrest. I ordered the Cobra luggage rack and got a new set of Kuryakyn grips for the same $$$. I also had the V&H Baggers, K&N air filter, and power commander installed. Spent some time breaking in the motor yesterday. All I can say is I sure am glad I didn't buy that Harley!
I'll post a pic in my signature ASAP.

Congrats Joe !!

Now that you need to get some break in miles on, lets see if we can hook up for a ride before the cold weather sets in for a while.

Congrats on the new bike---I had to wait to get mine too, and in the words of Tom Petty, "Waiting is the hardest Part". Enjoy the ride and keep the rubber side down.

The Bike in my pic is the 01, I traded her in on the 07' so she is history. It was a great color though, I always liked it. My new scoot is candy cardinal red and metallic titanium. :)
