Need Help with new Computer

My old computer was getting tired, and I was getting tired of waiting on it, so Saturday I went out and bought a new one. It works great, except for the fact I can't log onto the KawaNOW forum. I can log onto everything else that I have to log onto to use it, except for KawaNOW (I'm on the old computer now so I can access the forum). So my question to the computer savvy people is.......... What am I doing wrong, or overlooking? I have adjusted the browser sensitive and it did no good. Thanks in advance for any input.

Are you getting an error message? If so, what does it say?

No sir, no error message. I click the "log in" at the top of the page, it takes me to the log in section, I put in my "user name", password (and yes I'm putting it in correctly ;) ) then click the amount of time I want to stay logged in, then click the "log-in" button. It then takes me right back to the page where it says "Welcome Guest, please login or register" as though I had used the wrong name or password so I can try again, but there is no message or error stated. No matter how may times I try, it goes back to the login page when I click the login button.

I complained to Trip about how you think it is so funny when CJ busts my balls and had him ban you.

The only other thing I can think of is your security setting is not allowing your machine to accept cookies. A pop up blocker wouldn't stop you from being able to log on so I feel pretty sure that isn't the problem. But I'm far from being a geek either.

Could be something with your firewall not allowing you to log in to KawaNOW. As Mitch said it could also be the security settings. You will just have to go into the security settings and look around.

Just a suggestion for you as I have seen certain programs needing logging into work after deleting the cookies and browsing history, restarting the browser and trying once more.

To do this depending on your IE version, select Internet Options from the Tools menu, Under Browsing History click on Delete, and be sure to include Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History. Restart your browser and hope for the best! Hope it works for you!

Scott, took yours and Cajun's advice and downloaded Firefox................................. and it fixed whatever problem there was, all's good now!

Thanks everybody for your suggestions, I don't understand what the problem was, I could log onto everything except Kawanow, but firefox has got me back up in high gear. Again, THANKS EVERYBODY.
