Indiana Nomads
Was at a swap meet in Valparaiso, In. today. Saw a blue/silver Nomad with batwing fairing parked inside the fair grounds. Was this by chance one of our members?? Saw a left side dog dish mod, so thought it might be.

I know there are some members from Indiana so it could be one of our members. I met two Nomads a few miles apart on US Highway 431 between Albertville and Guntersville, AL this week. I was in the car or we might have had a chance to meet.

Wasn't me I'm at the other end of the state.
How was the Swap meet? I saw it advertised in the Abate magazine.

Was not that great. A handful of vendors for leather and a handful for bike stuff. Mainly Harley parts.
Lady at the ticketbooth said that the cold discouraged a lot of people. She said they usually averag around 3000 bikes. I counted maybe 500

You missed one of the biggest rides in the state on Sunday in Highland. There were 1800 bikes in the ride and I didn't see one Nomad. The ride is called "Victory for Vets" and is always held on the last Sunday in September. If you have never seen that many bikes trying to pull out of a park, 2 by 2, it is a site. Takes about 30 minutes to get them all out.

Cadmann11 I did not even see the ride listed. I went to an MC event page for Indiana and saw a ton of rides but missed that one.
I see a couple Nomads running around in my area from time to time. Not sure where they are from. If I ever get a chance to stop and talk with them Ill get them to this site.
