Stock Stones Tire Pressure
I have the OEM stock stones on my 2003 w/ 22,000 on the front & 15,000 miles on the rear. I run 40 psi in both tires, & check the pressure weekly. The rear is bald & the front has about 2,000 miles of life left. I weigh close to 240.
Valdez has offered his services to help me replace both tires next weekend. What a GUY.......-Rich |

I run 40 front & rear. Weigh 235. 7,100 miles with front in great shape and ~ 3,000 or more miles left on the rear.

Stock Stones Tire Pressure
I weigh in about 270. An old touring rider told me to run max pressure in the front and add two pounds more to the rear to get the best mileage and handling out of the tires. I have always kept them at 40 or 41 in the front, and 42 to 43 in the rear. I have 10k on the original stones and not quite to the wear bars on the rear. Probably let them go for another month or so before I change them. Like Redeye, I check the pressure every week.

i think my manual said 32 front and 40 rear on the 07 ' w/ the stock bridgestones...i run 32 in the front and 38 in the rear...rebound clicked to #2 and about 10psi in the shocks..seems to ride fine for me. i am about 235lbs i bought my zero loss air pump at a local schwinn bicycle shop.

I believe the '05 manual says 30-32 front/rear. I did that at first but bike feels to sluggish in the turns so I have bumped up to 40/42 and have much better control in the turns especially slow turns. Im not sure anybody runs what the manual call for.
