I have a set, plain with pockets. I really like them. The pockets come in handy to store a water bottle or sun screen in them.

I've got the same thing, coacha. I thought when I originally got these that the wind would eventually cause the pocket flaps to not stay down on the velcroe, but I was wrong. I've been using these for over a year and they work beautifully. I keep my garage door opener in one pocket.

Delinda at PHCustoms can fix you up.

I have had the studded set without pockets now for a few months and can't say anything bad about them. Well worth the cost.

I have had mine on for a while now. Did anyone do anything special to the bags to "prep"
surface for easier cleaning/detailing?

I too have a pair of bag chaps, studs no pockets. I also have a tank chap with a pocket and insignia. They look good and are holding up well. I really like them . Didn't prep them, just installed 'em.

I meant prep or treat the surface under the bags.

hardbag chaps???

I ordered a pair from PH Customs to keep my bags from getting scratched by passengers getting on/off the back.I've had them on for about 2 months and have no complaints at all.
