Did not help. Still have same problems.
My PC runs a scan every night from my AGV virus program. It said no virus found.
I'm at a loss, any more suggestions.
Did you try running Firefox. On the same machine, Firefox is faster than Internet Explorer...

Also reformatting the hard drive and re-installing the operating system, say once a year, helps. Be sure to back up your important stuff before reformatting.

Hey TC,

I added a few snapshots to my signature for you to test your new browser.

Can you view the photos without much delay?

Good luck with Firefox (it's also said to be more secure than IE).

The Google Chrome browser is even less bloated and faster than Firefox.

TC,

It sounds like what happened to Internet Explorer, is you became "hijacked", that's when a website or virus takes over your IE. In IE, you can make sure you have your "pop up blocker" checked marked. Depending on what version of IE you have, go into "Internet Options", click on the tab that say's "Privacy", look down the little window and make sure the Pop Up Blocker is checked. You also might want to look at your Security Levels and see if any site you don't recognize put itself in your "Trusted" sites. Also, look and see what is the default "Homepage".

Another great FREE program to run on your computer is called cCleaner which you can download from: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard or the shortened URL of www.piriform.com and look for the free version to download. Install it, run it a couple of times, and just check for a free definition file about once a week.

I don't use IE very much myself anymore, usually run Chrome or Firefox, but sometimes you run into a website or bank site that wants to play with IE better than the others.

TC if you stay with Firefox, I'd suggest you go to add-ons and install AdBlock Plus.

Well I guess I'll just have to see it in person to get the full effect Rick.

TC good to hear your computer seems to be now behaving it's self.

While on the subject of viruses and worms, did anybody hear about cell phones? It seems the next big target for malicious hackers is cell phones.
