*Cough* *choke* you want to charge HOW MUCH?

I went through the same exercise pricing tires, me removing/ reinstalling the wheels, driving to my local shop, my time, drive time, fuel, etc. I decided to drive the bike in and let my dealer remove, mount and balance, reinstall. It was an extra $50, got a warranty and was in and out in 40 minutes.

Well worth it and oh, by the way, they did a quick detail!!!!!!!

I got my tire irons at Princess auto for about $4.00 each they work well.
It must the big oil feild paychecks there that have businesess jacking up the prices.

Check out the tire changing with no tools video in the tech section. I'm changing mine next week and plan to try this.

When I wanted a car tire mounted I called a small two man shop that specializes in metric bikes. He said "no problem - I'll mount anything.". He mounted and balanced my car tire for twenty bucks.

Hopefully you have some options available. Most small independent guys really value your business and will treat you like gold.

The next time I need a new helmet or some accessory I'll remember that those guys treated me right and I'll throw them my business - even if it means paying a higher price than Motorcycle Superstore.

Enjoy that car tire.

Hard to believe a shop would quote you that. A company called Azzkicker Customs did mine for $30 off the bike.

yellow - I know, that's why it hurt so bad to pay this much.
But it was one of those things where I didn't realize how much they were going to take me for till I needed them (and I couldn't wait for shipping)

So.... this am I got together with steve and for the cost of a good bottle of cdn rye and a 6 pack of working pops - we gotRdone!
both front and rear (darkside) tires are on the rims.
Tomorrow I might get a chance to put the rims back on and take it for a test ride!

Some folks use BB's instead of dyna-beads, they put them in before they mount the tire.
