Get them. You will most likely leak oil if try to reuse the old ones.

I'm curious. How many miles did you have when the chain cut through?

You can do the extenders with the crossover tube in place. If you disconnect it on both sides it will give you enough room to get to the inside screw on the front cylinder. You will need a ball ended allen key though.

What parts eh? I guess you ain't riding unless you ride naked.

let's see, the cheap way out is to build a little plate, that blockes the old and gone cross over tube opening, on the oem backing plate. Then with a Spector air filter and cover, a 8 mm bolt threaded all the way, which gets the head hacksawed off and a new nut.

If the ISC's are going away (reccomended) you will need automotive caps which come in either kits of all black or bright colors. These are kits of vacuum plugging caps. You will need some in general anyway/

2 will fit on the now un-used steel tubings to the intake manifold at the oem backing plate.

Another option is to run the oem dog bowl with one of chucksters backing plates, which i believe comes with all the hardware, fittings and the like to transfer the engine breather tubing, as well as all the rest. I am not sure if he includes air filters or not.

Either way I suggest buying a set of Chucksters Coasters too. Doing that eliminates more junk and trash off the bike making the bike a little bit lighter, and a little cleaner in looks.

I am not sure what else fits chucksters backing plate(s). Plate(s) is because he does make a dual set up, but you won't want that now.

In fact a right side only set up is likely better anyway. Once the right side does the breathing the left side is just for looks anyway. Or unless like me, you loose the right side filter and the cover and some schumk in traffic runs all that stuff over.

I just swapped over the stuff on the left to the right side and stuffed a rag in the cross over tube, back then, and just as a nice Police Officer stopped to see if I needed any assistance

I was all set. thanks..

Once we know where you want to go, we can help better. If you don't know where you want to go we still can assist

Someone today asked how to get to a place and mentioned GPS. I told the rider I don't have GPS, but I do use LOST a lot.
