Memphis Shades fairing

I found a dealer in town who carried the memphis shades fairing and like the look .Simple easy to install so I pulled the trigger and ordered the package from badgers hollow motor sports with help from the link from james40.Talked to Jason and he had everything I needed and is shipping it Tuesday.Save $75.00 off the list price of everything and free shipping .Comes in black but want to paint it green like the 2006 I have .Website said to use paint compatible with the material .Any ideas where to get matching paint.

CarQuest auto parts should be able to scan your bike with a paint matching thing, and get pretty close, or you could take it to a local body shop/painter and have them do it for you.

Did you get it for the $361 he quoted me??? I'm going to get my order in on Tuesday. I like the quick detach feature of the fairing, I'm just hoping the attachment hardware all lines up with no problems and not too much tweaking is involved.

My total came to $427.00 .I ordered the lowers for the fairing and also the polished stainless trim for the windshield.Did your quote include these ?I thought the price was good compared to list at other dealers.

You guys both keep us posted as you progress....fit, photos and all. For that price I might be interested myself. I'm especially curious if they fit with the Phat II risers if either of you have those.

I'm like the original poster (james40)....while I respect that many here are very proud of their stereos and Ipods and such....music is wasted to me on a bike ride. There are enough things happening on the road and in my head that I have never needed or missed it when riding....even on long multi-day rides. I would be quite interested in an inexpensive fairing that didn't include all the radio stuff (and extra weight that goes with it)! JMHO...

That's right in line with what he quoted me. The trim is $39 and the lowers are $27. I wanted to wait and get the unit mounted and see what I'm working with before I add anything else.

I have the PhatII's, that's what mainly kept me away from the full fairings. I can't live without my Phat's and my backrest.

I'm just looking for more protection in the winter and maybe cut down on the wind buffeting, so the MS batwing seems to fit the bill at a decent price.

Also, since I have a black bike and the fairing is black lucite, I save money on having to paint it.
