I very rarely have any problem with getting a light to read me. I look as I'm pulling up for the lines that detect, and stop on a place where they intersect with each other. I do that out of habit now, and the lights always read me.

I'm w/ you Dan. So far I've been lucky and haven't had a problem, but I'm concious to stop right over the detectors. I try and put as much of the bike on it as possible and it seems to work. However.... like you Todd...I ain't waiting for ever if it doesn't work!!! LOL!

The different detectors/sensors and installations must have a large differences in sensitivity. I live in an area where bicycles can trip a lot of them.
