I got 19000 out of my last Am elite on my 1700 nomad! They handle so well and are well worth the extra cost! Double the life of the Dunlop 404's I used to run for just a little more $

I am needing to purchase a rear tire for my 2013 voyager. I've been running the Metzeler 888's since the factory Bridgestones. The mileage has varied quite a bit on the rear tire. The current rear tire has 10,300 miles and will probably match the tread wear indicator by 11,000. I had a previous 888 that went 15,000 but started to peel and was showing the belt. The Dunlop American Elites look like really good tires. My Metzeler rear tire is currently a 180/65-16 as they don't seem to make one the same size as the original. As I'm looking at the Dunlops, I don't see a front tire available in the same size as the original, so I was wondering what size tires you guys are putting on the front?

I have a little over 1000 miles on mine so far and really like them. No more wobble at 40mph. Front is MT90B16, rear is 180/65B16.

As far as I know... MT90 is the same as 130/90?

Decided to pull the trigger on the Dunlop American Elite. Decided to order both tires so they'll match. According to UPS they'll be here on monday so hopefully next weekend I can get them on.

What size American Elite are you running on the back of your Voysger?

Bottom line for me - American Elites are what I'm gonna stick with. As far as compared to the Michelins - I had just a wisker of side slip in the rain with the Commander II. Not so with the Dunlop American Elite.

I also liked the Metzler 888 (I was an 880 fan for my 1600 Nomad) but like the American Elite just a little better -

Hope that helps
