Ouch, I can not even fathom it. If they total it is there any extra money to be made for your next purchase off some parts if you buy it back from them? I may help off set the loss? Somewhat anyway? Not sure how it works.

Ill know in a couple of days what the true damage is and what the insurance wants to do. Ill be open to all options including me scrounging parts and doing the work if need be. What I wont do is bend over and accept a half assed settlement. Time will tell. I just installed wild things computer/cadman air kit and got the bike tuned nicely and awoke the beast. ughhh

if your rain suit was in the saddle bag, it is damaged, make them pay for it. Don't go to the point of insurance fraud, but stick it to their ass.

Sorry to see, hope all ends well but watch out, insurance doesn't work out to well in the end most of time.

My guess is they'll total it if it has bent forks. Hopefully, you'll get a fair settlement.

Get the estimate on the damage. Call the insurance company and fight for the true value to replace as it was. Have receipts for all upgrades and don't cash the check until you're satisfied. They'll look to pay only book value.

Bad news. You do everything you can to keep the bike safe and some brain dead putz runs over it anyway. "Didn't see it" means "Wasn't looking". Good thing you weren't sitting on it.

Best of luck on the insurance estimate but it seems that these great bikes are under-valued.
