it also says clean title so it's been titled so it's not new.

I wasn't sure how to take the title status remark. Wouldn't "new" imply the bike has never been titled. And if so, the "clean" remark is erroneous and irrelevant? Dunno. But it would be fun to own from mile number one onward.

New? So, it's been sitting on some dealer's lot for 15 or 16 years? Never been titled? Hard to believe.

not that odd for a old stock new machine to be found, I worked at a John Deere dealership, we found a new lawn tractor, it was only 15 years old, thought it was stolen, but lost in the weeds

Yup! Meet me at the 88/80 junction and we'll make a ride out of it

I browsed several of their bikes. $4500 for a 2007 1500 Classic w/30k miles. in my opinion.

Strange things like that do happen. Remember the brand new in the crate Norton Commandos in Belgium in 2010?

Yes they do. When old Motorcycle Mac McGowan, the last of the original Triumph dealers, died in Norfolk VA back in the mid 90s, I went through the back of his shop with the executor of his estate and saw that he had several crates of brand new 60s vintage Triumphs. I used to buy parts from old Mac and while he was a bit of a strange duck, sure knew his Triumphs.
