Any spoked rim off a Classic will fit, it's only going to have one brake rotor though.

Spoke rims for Vulcan Nomad

Thanks - two quick questions:1. "Classic" from what line? Nomad? Harley?

2. Can you actually and safely use a wheel with just
One rotor?

Kawasaki Vulcan Classic and you will have less stopping power with one rotor.
These are heavy bikes and I personally would want 2 rotors but that is just my opinion.

Another idea is to find a spoked rim for a 2010+ Harley Street Glide/Road Road Glide, and modify your brake caliper mounts and spacers to make it fit similar to what was done in this thread.

There are guys that adapt the Nomad wheels over to Classics (Vulcan), then theres the guys that wanna go the other way...
Why do you want a spoked wheel on the front of a Nomad? All Nomads came with cast wheels.
Like you were told, Classics (Vulcan) have a single disc up front. Also, you will have many more flats compared to the cast Nomad wheel, where you only need to carry a plug / slime / slime compressor to get you back on the road again....

I had a 1500 Vulcan Classic and it always annoyed me that when I changed tires I also had to change tube and rub strip. Get a flat? Call a tow truck, no plug and go.

As for the one brake disc.......it was adequate but that's all. Now that I have a bike with "real" brakes I am amazed. I can't even imagine how I managed to ride bikes with front and rear drums..........or the old choppers with just a rear drum :(.

Try riding a 1500 MeanStreak with 3 pot dual discs up front.

That thing will do stoppie's if you're not careful.
