Vance&Hines

Just installed V&H slipon's, went for a short ride and noticed popping on deceleration. Is this normal? Never had it with the stock pipes

It's normal. You had it with the stock pipes and you just never noticed because it wasn't loud. If you do a search the forum for solutions; there are a few. Ivan's tune and marbling come to mind.

What Bud2Rat said: Ivanize it.
Like Hayes said, this is normal.
Ivanizing it will address that pop on decel and many other issues...

Ride safe,
Smokier

thanks for all the info, from reading all the comments it seems that a reflash of the ECM cures many problems and gives the bike a wake up call. I live in NY so when I return from vacation I'll take a ride up to Ivan's shop and have it done
