Wiring from bike to radio in fairing.

K so my bike almost fell off my lift (don't ask) and in panic mode i pulled the wires from my quick connect.. no big deal opened up fairing put a new quick connect but as the pics show i have red black and yellow going from the radio going to a 3 pin female and the three wires from the bike will go to a 3 pin male but the wires from the bike are yellow black and green so my question is which wire will connect to which? Im sure this is basic for most but wiring isint exactly my strong point. Thanks for everyones input.

From fairing, Black is ground, red is hot all the time to keep memory on stereo, red is battery power( keyed or unkeyed). From bike take a voltmeter and see what you get but I am sure black is ground, but the other two like I said you need to test which one has power with key on and which as it with the key off too

If that's the case I would do black on black and the green I would connect the red and yellow to it. This means your stereo will be hot all the time and will have make sure you power it off when you get off the bike.

Another thought is start the bike and see if you get power to the white wire. If that's the case then you will hook up the green to the yellow and the red to the white.

Probably just as Rasta said....I really haven't had a whole lotta luck with radios and recievers. Some folks just install them, never have problems. I subject my bike to real world elements, and on bikes, vibration, moisture, extreme hot/cold variations, usually only get a year or 2 outta them, because I ride all the time.
I just replaced my radio with a jack thats wired to my speakers....I want music, I installed a ipod dock, I just get my cord and plug it up. I put my instruments, oil press./water temp./volt meter where my radio was. I had planned just to use my radio for local music/weather while I can keep a eye on it by other means. Since I use a Sena wireless, I got all updates on my headset, gps, weather, tire pressure, phone calls, plus local music stations/weather....I just keep the tunes I love on the ipod....
I hope you have great luck with your stereo!

All good, wires all good and connected and heat shrunk good to go. (Might help
If I connect the negative running from the stereo to the battery) 😶😶
