The best mod I made to my vaquero was when I modified the title to have MY name on it!

I've done over $2000.00 in upgrades to the bike but by far the best was Ivan's re-flash, followed by RACNRAY's throttle mod, Chucksters extended brake and shift arms, iPod adapter cable, Grasshopper backrest, Kuryakyn ISO Dually Highway Pegs, 12" Rifle windshield and many other changes.

Funny you should say Clearview - I bought one, it just wasn't high enough for me - it made my Helmet Buffet and do all kinda wierd things when I got over 75 MPH. Not to mention I got one of them there wind vents right smack dab in the center of the shield - and after I Power aimed 2 bugs right up the ole Snozolla, I said enough of this and put the stocker back on. Oh and I had the Tallest one they make.

I have a lot of stuff added/changed on my 1500, and Garry's fork brace is my favourite.

If I upgrade to a 1700 Ivan's flash and Garry's fork brace are the first things I will do.

SORRY TO SAY....replacing the Vaquero with my new Indian Chieftain Dark Horse...

Now this is all in fun n games...the Vaq was a real cool skoot that I thoroughly enjoyed for 5 years and 100,000 miles. It played a huge role in my personal and business life, led me to lotsa cool places and to meet some nice peeps, but it as all my other past skoots are part of my 43 years of ridin skoots.

I'll never forget The Vaq.

Wow, very cool that the 6.5" speaker adapters made a few of these lists!! Very humbled by that, thank you!!

I love all the mods I have done so far. I am torn between which is the "best" mod so I will qualify my answer to each:

Best mod to make the skoot more "rideable": Ivan ECU Flash. No pop, smooth, strong acceleration!
Best mod to make more "enjoyable" of a ride: Sound system upgrade: 6.5" speaker upgrade, amp and ipod. I just find myself enjoying this more every time I go out!
