Lynn's 900

Some shots of the wife's 2006 900 all dressed up. She has ridden this 900 all over the western states and not had a problem keeping up with the pack, especially after changing that front sprocket.

Lobocop,
Nice looking bike indeed! I suspect that the fairing, bags and trunk are all Corbin. Right?

Can you elaborate more on the sprocket change. What size was the stock one and what did you change to? Did it require a change to a different length belt?

At times I've thought that the Nomad was just too much bike for me to wrestle around, especially at low speeds. Thought that the 900 might be a nice size (as I started off on an 800 Volusia) but didn't think it would have "the legs" to cruise comfortably on the highway. You're making rethink that idea.

Your suspicions are correct. Corbin used the wife's 900 and my V2K as prototype bikes. The Sprocket, or gear, is known as the overdrive gear for the 900. It is a 34 tooth front gear, uses the factory belt, and is like a 6th gear added to the 900. I got the one for this bike at Scootworks and did the install myself. Took about an hour.

Both bikes look good. Ride safe and be careful.

Good luck getting an answer, he hasn't been on here since October.
But I will venture a guess that no the trunk is not OEM

Since the owner isn't here to verify, I will go out on a limb and say the trunk is probably a Corbin. Same with the bags.
