Relocation of brake/clutch

Installing a Khrome Werks Mini-Ape handlebar on a 2000 1500 Nomad. I am thinking the brake and clutch need to be relocated behind the triple tee. Whats the best way to accomplish this? Can you just unhook at master cylinder(s) and re-feed them or do you need to remove the top triple tee? Thanks for any help or guidance from one of you who has done the swap.

I have the Galfer braided lines and mini apes. Didn't have to route mine behind the triple tree.

I think he is trying not to replace the brake and clutch lines. I say skip the apes and leave it alone, but that's me.

I don't see the functionality with them, but to each his own. I think that's why I went away from cruisers. Too much form over function.

If that's the case, may be try narrower bars. You can add risers too to bring the bars up a bit. I wonder if the newer bars from the Voyager/Vaquero can be put on the older Nomad? Those seemed narrower to me than the ones on the 1600. I am sure someone makes different bars. I just think that having the arms high would introduce a new set of problems, ergonomically and handling.
