Voyager luggage
I'm going to do some touring this summer and am looking for extra carry capacity for the trips. I'll be riding solo and plan to put the luggage on the back seat. So far the only bags that seem appropriate are the Saddlemen BR4100 and the Kuryakyn 4148. Anyone have experience with either of these bags on a Voyager? Are there better bags for the Voyager back seat? Will I have an abrasion problem with a denier bag rather than leather or vinyl? Thanks for any help.

I use the Kury Grantour on my Voyager when I tour solo - fits nicely on the back seat and gives me nice back support. Holds enough for a two week or more trip . . .

Voyager Luggage
I have an older model of the Nelson Riggs CTB650 that has worked well on my 08 Nomad and now on my 2011 Voyager. It straps nicely on the passenger seat and I can lean against it. Have carried two weeks of stuff in it if packed properly.

Thanks! I have had the Grantour bag for about 5 years and it has been up and down the East Coast on my Sabre and Voyager and Across Country on the Sabre . . . Its a great bag. When I first bought the Voyager, I bout a trunk rack thinking I would need another place to mount a bag for my long weekend trips with my son - Never mounted it because the Voyager gives me the needed space for that without extra space required . . . add the Gran Tour when solo and I can ride forever! (as long as there is a laundrymat along the way about every week).
