I spoke with my brother inlaw earlier, and he lives about 80 miles north of me in Bracebridge, told me they got dumped on with 4 feet of fresh snow overnight.
The snow machines are out in full force there!

Good morning! It's 48° in Phoenix. I have to attend a Redhat Linux training class this week for work in downtown Phoenix. That's going to be a nasty commute both ways. I'm not riding today, but may ride the rest of the week if the weather stays nice.

Holy Crap!

Sunshine and 6* headed for 1*, we received about 12-14" of snow.
Snowmobile trails are opening up today, they'll be happy people.

Just came down from the cottage, about a foot of fresh snow and the lake is frozen with about 8 in of ice. My buddy was the first one to run down the lake on his sled after drilling a few test holes. It was -34c Friday night!

I doubt it, but its possible it could come in from Georgian Bay.

Theres a good chance I could be out icefishing over the Christmas break, I'm sure Cooks Bay in Lake Simcoe will be frozen by now. Although its supposed to start warming up here with a chance of rain by Thursday,
