Were you running the Stock OEM Tires when they gave out at 5000? If so that doesnt worry me then, i know they are junk, Mine gave out at 7500 with no trailer. Im running Metzler now hoping they do better, Where did you find a hitch receiver for your bike? I know chuckster makes one i believe, but havent seen very many other (Though i havent been looking hard yet)

Yes the tire was oem. May could have gotten 1000 more miles but had a trip coming up so I changed it so I wouldn't be worried during the trip. Can't tell you what brand hitch I have as the dealer ordered it and installed it as part of the purchase price of the bike. The hitch does mount under the fender and has the removable ball and thingy the ball is attached to, that makes the hitch invisible when removed.
