Thx....I should mention that you need a good pair of tin snips or garden shears to cut the stuff...and you can simply file the ends if you need a finer finish.

I have no pics, but i found a car sun visor organizer that worked on glued in velcro in the right saddle bag door. it is something like the left side stock web bag and mounted on the door with no cutting and no holes.
Just 3-M Black weather strip glue on to velcro.

Ive used a locker organizer mounted in my Tour Pak lid for keeping small stuff. I stuck it on with two way body molding tape, and it never came off.
Locker organizers can be found at WalMart and other stores where school supplies are available for a couple dollars.

ConverterPegs for Passenger
My Friend Howard and I came up with these Converter Passenger Pegs for my Wife as her legs get cramped when sitting in one position for too long. -- Also came up with a neat mounting system for my CB Radio Antenna and Flag Antenna -- Passenger Pegs on other Side fold the same way

Regarding Howards Nomad
+++++++++++++++++++++++++
To bad Howard doesn't visit this Site as he has even better unique modifications done to his 2002 Nomad -- His Motorcycle is the mirror of mine in that where mine is black his is Red and where mine is Red his is Black -- looks neat when we ride together. We made it to the Northeastern Rally in Wellsboro, PA 2012 and I am trying to talk him into the Estates Rally this year. Northern Dancer, Cheers, Ron

I like that... What method was used to mount these pegs. I can't see it that well. Is a bracket made and welded on or is it bolted?? I can't tell

Yes, a picture of both sides would be helpful. The drive shaft seems like it under the bike a bit more.

Regarding the Mounting Bracket
Quote:
Hi MAC, That Visor Organizer attached to Right Saddlebag Door is an excellent Idea in that putting it on the Door makes it easy to get to like the Left Saddlebag. Regarding the Mounting Bracket for the Converter Passenger Pegs, we purchased longer Stainless Standard Thread Bolts, re-tapped the mounting Holes for the Floor Boards and Bolted the Bracket behind the Floor Board Mounts. Then Howard manufactured a Pivot so that I will not be breaking my Legs should I put them down in an emergency to have them catch on the New Pegs. They fold back easily and also the Nomad looks almost Stock with them folded back behind the Floor Boards when they are folded up. Did anybody notice my Backup Mirrors on Crash Bars? I need these when backing out of my Garage trying to avoid hitting my Parked Car. See with my other Motorcycles the Mirrors are mounted to the Fairings and don't swing when I turn my steering like the Nomad does. I also have a HID Headlight, Kisan Modulators on my 35Watt Driving Lights, Photon Blasters with Alert, Flicker, and Turn Signal Feature in front on Fork legs to help people see me as the Stock Turn Signals are over powered by the Driving Lights, Photon Blaster P3 Flicker RED LED Running Lights with Turn Signal/Brake/4Way Functions mounted on my Rear Mudflap, Modulating or Flashing LED Brake Light above License Plate, High level added Tail Lights/Brake/4Way Lights mounted at sides of Rear Carrier, TFI Fuel Processor setup by Dynotune Dynometer, Michelin Alpin 205/60/16 Snow Tire (Car Tire), Hardline Engine Hour Meter, Illuminated Battery Bug, DORAN Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Garmin GPS, Show Chrome Illuminated Switches, Electronic Deer Alert, Baron Tachometer, AGM Glass Mat Battery, VIPER Alarm System, ETC, ETC. I know not all the above is on the cheap but we are guilty of making mounts, wiring mods, and other ideas cheaply whenever we can. I am a firm believer in maximum visibility. Just Sharing Ideas, Northern Dancer, Regards, Ron

Northern Dancer , let me try to say in other words what I think you are saying, just to see if I understand.
You made up an adapter plate that fits over the stock passenger bolt holes, and used longer ss bolts to install the floor boards back on. As a wild guess i would say that plate is 3/8" thick steel, by maybe 2 wide" or 9" to 10" long , and has a tab welded on it to catch the top bolt Also a bracket was formed to create a folding clevis for a custom foot peg to mount. But if this is true, is the clevis a part you can buy, a part you made and welded on, or a part you made that also bolts on. The dang problem is that black paint hiding the details i wanna see.... Looks great and I know Jared wants to know too.... All this steel bolts up to the oem rear boards holes.... On the left side as seated Behind this added on bracket plate IS the drive shaft tube.. That was a part of my original problem too. And if so on the right side the mount would have been on the swing arm, and if that were true, which it is not! The pegs would move with the swingarm. The pegs do not move with the swing arm because they are mounted ona plate that stands out the oem floor boards, but there has to be some very fancy cutting of the plate or there is a added on welded tab to catch the upper oem bolt hole. That's my best guess and now i want the template or drawing....
