Leonard Nimoy as Spock was OK but I thought Kirstie Alley played a good one in one of the movies.

I agree, this is a GREAT place to discuss our rides, likes or dislikes and being able to joke about without it getting personal.

If the conversations get to a personal level where profanity and harsh words are exchange, then those need to take it elsewhere. There is NO room here for Bullying.

I personally like the idea keeping the jokes light hearted. If the religion and politics become a serious intent/discussion, then I feel it needs to be done privately and elsewhere.

Trip, you have done a GREAT job with this forum and I have referred many others to join and they have the same compliment. Keep up the fantastic work and lets keep this forum mainly focused on our BELOVED RIDES......

One helpful idea: when people ask a question that's been asked a gazillion times, rather than rip the newbie a new one for not googling- just add a link to the thread and tell them all they wish to know is there and to direct any further questions within that thread.

This way the 3 dozen others with the same problem that find his question can also find the answer.

It always baffled me why people get so upset at "resurrecting" a "dead" post. If more clarification is needed for someone, isn't it better to have all info in one place then splattered across 15 threads which in the end may not quite get the question answered?

Now juxtapose this to one audio enthusiast website where 1k pages are in one post professed to be the place to answer ALL concerns about a very complex piece of equipment. That's like if nomads had one thread for everything- It's virtually useless!!

I have never seen this on this forum and I have been here since 2007.
We are very tolerant of newbie questions.

That never happens here...... newbies here ask questions about the same things all the time, and never get hassled a bit for it.
