Test failed - trying to delete post. Found edit/delete button but once there, can't find the delete option.

lol, yes, thought there would be a simple way to delete an entire post. Must have missed it.

Did you try edit, highlight what you want to delete, then click delete.

Ok... Hit "Edit" (lower right of the post); the hit "Delete" (again at lower right); Now at the bottom you'll see the words "Deletion Options at lower left in red letters.

There are two buttons to choose from just below that. The default "Do Not Delete Message" is picked. Pick the one below it "Delete Message".

Then hit the button at the far lower right "Delete this Message".

Your post will be deleted.

At least that is how it works for me.

it will not happen.
Oh, and it's nice to know I'm not the only one who makes mistakes.
