Has anyone out there used a trailer, behind their bike, to take their pet along for a ride? If so, ANY info would be welcome.
Thanks for your time

Didn't this just come up in another thread? I could have sworn I responded.

Well I thought this one was different from the other two (2) where I was looking for ideas (on, behind, or beside the bike of hauling my little fat dog) and if the tire size on the trailer would make a difference on towing and ride. This one is asking for specifics of putting the dog on a trailer, which I figure could cover ideas for containment, ventelation, securing, dust, wind, ect. I reckon I could have done a post with a whole string of questions that would have taken up a lot of space and taken a lot of time for folks to read through and then I would have had to combine pits and pieces of a bunch of post to put together the info I was looking for from a bunch of answers and yadda, yadda, yadda. I kinda figured seperate, short, specific questions would make it more efficent. But shoot I darn sure could have been wrong about that. And if so, I appologize for getting it wrong.
Thanks for your time

Ive seen a guy at Port Dover who had a box mounted on the back of his Wing, for his dog, and another fella had a bird cage mounted on his HD for his parrot.

You could try and train your dog to do this... Saw this guy on a 4 lane interstate. He was going about 70 mph when we passed him and got the pictures.

That is correct. My wife has her own bike.

I would think that something that had a solid top and bottom and at least one solid side would work.
The solid side could face the front to block some of the wind. Cage type sides and would let him see out. Just thinking outloud.

Several years ago I was on a trip and stopped in a rest area. A guy on a HD pulling a trailer with two dog cages on the top also stopped. He had three poodles, two rode in the cages and one rode on the bikes tank with him. He would rotate the dogs at each stop. they looked like a happy bunch.
