Since my bike is red over red, her name is Scarlet (although my wife is jealously accustomed to calling her a harlot). |

We bought the nomad in May of 2009. During that week my wife and I went to see the new Star Trek movie. On the drive home she said "Isn't the new bike a Vulcan? Then we should call it Lenny you know like Spock (Leonard Nimoy)". It stuck. So it's Lenny!

My wife named our bike "Kitt" after the Knight Rider car. Probably due to the black color and the sequential light bar...but mine is on the rear, not on the hood
It would be nice if it had the computer that could take over if necessary.

I lettered on the rear fender of my three Vulcans the name I gave each; the 2000 Classic Fi was 'Lulu', the 2002 Nomad was 'Lola' and the current 2003 Nomad is 'Lili'. Guess I'm prone to riding like 'L'.

Bertha (as in one of the Butt Sisters, from the 70's, guess you had to be there). She's big and comfortable!

Thanks for sharing everybody. I let my wife read this, and she liked the comment about it doesn't need a name because it won't come when you call it. Oh well, maybe I'll just give it a secret name and not tell her what it is. That'll teach her.

I call mine "FRONKENSTEEN"... from the movie "Young Frankenstein".. green and made from different parts.
I totaled it out 4 years ago, rebuilt it from parts off of a Harley, Suzuki, Honda, Chevy Suburban, and other bikes. When I finished it I had a T shirt that said.. "IT'S ALIVE" .
